PURPOSE AND DESTINY REVIVED
SCRIPTURE
For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 MEV).
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
One of the key things the enemy uses to discourage believers is a loss of purpose when the circumstances around them paint a negative picture. Additionally, we each deeply want to know what we are called by God to be doing with the specific gifts and unique talents we have. There are three important factors to know when it comes to your calling, purpose, and destiny. First, if God planned it for you, it will happen, so don’t allow the enemy’s discouragement to dissuade you. Second, know that God gave you unique gifts and talents, and the thing you are destined to do will typically surround those talents. Be yourself and don’t try to become something you aren’t. God will enable you to do what you love and are good at doing. Last, remember God’s timing. We typically want things on our timeframe, but there are many factors involved and God knows them all so we need to trust Him to work out the timing. Be strengthened today in the assurance that God has a good plan for your life and a future filled with hope!
